Best chocolate brownie bliss ball recipe

I make these when I have a chocolate craving and they quite honestly taste like the best chocolate brownie truffles. SO decadent, they will satisfy your sweet tooth. Trust me, I have a major sweet tooth but try not to eat too much sugar. This hits the spot. Adapted from Wholefood Simply.

  • 1 cup walnuts (100 grams)
  • 1 cup almond meal (80 grams)
  • 1/4 cup cacao or cocoa (20 grams) (I only ever use cacao which is healthier and they come out perfect
  • 12 dates, seeds removed (180 grams) (Sometimes I use 9 or 10, depending on how juicy the dates are. If they are too juicy the balls come out a bit wet)
  • 1 tablespoon honey (30 grams) (Also works fine with rice malt syrup)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt
    1. Place the ingredients into your processor and blend at high speed until the mixture resembles a fine, sticky crumb. (If the mixture is too crumbly to shape into balls, add two tablespoons of melted coconut oil and blend again)
    2. Firmly press and shape the mixture into balls. Place in the fridge to set for at least two hours.
    3. Eat those thangs!
