Celebrities who love natural beauty

Hint: not the Kardashians :)

But there are loads of eco conscious celebs who are concerned about what they put on their skin. Here's a top 10.

1. Gwyneth Paltrow

Obviously. She is the clean beauty queen with her own site, goop.com and her own clean beauty line. She has really been a leader in this field and despite some wacky health theories we'd all do better to ignore, you still have to pay her credit for paving the way beyond hippie, into mainstream.

2. Jourdan Dunn

The supermodel has been known to make her own face masks from the antioxidant rich contents of her fridge!  Her go-to for an anti-inflammatory mask after one-too-many long plane trips is a blend of yoghurt, honey and turmeric.

3. Naomi Watts

Another one who has bought into clean beauty with her store, Onda (just opened in Paddington, Sydney), which only stocks clean beauty products and gives clean beauty facials.

4. Emma Watson

Who wants to argue with Hermione Granger? Exactly, nobody. Believe her when she says that natural products saved her skin from the constant irritation (and acne that flared up in the fourth Harry Potter movie) of film makeup. It was after a long day filming and then removing makeup from her sensitive face, that she decided to ditch chemicals

5. Priyanka Chopra

The newly-married actress relies on good old coconut oil to keep her hair soft and silky, "It keeps the hair strong, nourished and protected and even prevents hair loss. Let's not forget the therapeutic effects of a good head massage!"

6. Shailene Woodley

Is a next level green beauty hero. She makes toothpaste with bentonite clay, sometimes adding peppermint essential oil. After brushing with it, she swallows  to get a few extra minerals: “I’ve discovered that clay is great for you because your body doesn’t absorb it, and it apparently provides a negative charge, so it bonds to negative isotopes,” she told Into the Gloss, “And, this is crazy: it also helps clean heavy metals out of your body.”

7. Kate Middleton

Probably the last person we'd have thought to use clean beauty products, but she's a big fan of face oils, from rosehip oil to more fancy products like Beut Beauty Sleep Elixir. Who knew?

8. Alicia Silverstone

She's been an outspoken vegan forever and refuses to use anything but all-natural products.

9. Lea Michele

She's well known for her love of good health and overhauled her entire beauty routine too in 2016. "I buy most of my products at Whole Foods, I feel confident that whatever I get from there is going to be all-natural—no sulfates, organic, that kind of thing.”

10. Miranda Kerr

The noni-berry obsessed model/entrepreneur with her hugely successful line of clean beauty products has always loved good health practice, so this progression was only natural. She created her line of products after realising that most natural beauty products contained only one ingredient, and she knew they could be done better.

How right she was!
