What colours our natural perfumes?

Normally, colours in fragrance are made with synthetic colours that may irritate or cause allergies. So all those pretty pink/blue/purple perfumes you see in department stores are housing sneezes and headaches just waiting to annoy you.

At Recreation, we have used 100% pure plant colour, that not only work to colour but are used in ayurvedic and traditional beauty products to give skin benefits too. Our perfumes are clean - they are natural perfumes made with pure plant extract because we believe in giving you the best. Here's what we use:

Eclipta prostrata

Is a herb traditionally used for hair growth and skin disorders. It prevents itchy skin, chronic wounds, skin ulcers and eczema. All this, just in our fragrance to colour it.

Melia azadirachta leaf extract

Is known for keeping skin supple and neutralising free radicals as a potent antioxidant. It gives emollient and anti-aging properties and is anti-microbial.

Moringa oleifera seed oil

Contains antioxidants like vitamins C and E and is also anti-inflammatory. It also contains fatty acids to keep skin looking healthy.

There is only one organic farm that actually makes these plants suitable for colouring beauty products, and we have the source.
